What are the responsibilities and job description for the Traffic Control Design position at Highway Supply LLC?
The person in this position will prepare traffic control plans and submit them to the appropriate municipalities for approval utilizing Rapid Plan CAD software.
Will train experienced CAD drafters on Traffic Control standards, OR experienced traffic control technicians on the CAD software.
- Design Traffic Control Plans for Temporary Traffic Control projects
- Submit Traffic Control Plans to contractors and authorities for approval
- Requires interaction with Professional Engineers for PE Stamps on prepared Traffic Plans
- Public Works & Civil drafting experience preferred.
- Familiar with Reading Civil Plans and Blueprints.
- Work independently as well as part of a team.
- Deadline driven
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS PREFERRED:
- ATSSA Traffic Control Supervisor or equivalent.
- Knowledge of MUTCD standards and local government temporary traffic control requirements.
- Experience in CAD-based software required.
- Traffic control field experience a plus

- Salary: $18.00 - $22.00 Hourly DOE
