Responsibilities
- Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and kitchen areas
- Assist with bussing tables and clearing food service areas as needed
- Support food preparation tasks such as basic chopping or assembly when required
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Help with general cleaning duties to uphold hygiene standards in the kitchen
- Assist in catering events or banquet setups when necessary
- Follow all safety procedures related to food handling and cleaning processes
Skills
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, catering, or hospitality environments is preferred
- Knowledge of food handling and sanitation standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy loads (up to 50 pounds)
- Experience with bussing, food preparation, or culinary activities is a plus
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings or weekends if needed
