Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist with their shopping needs, answering questions about products and store services.
• Operate cash registers and POS systems accurately to process sales transactions swiftly and securely.
• Manage inventory control by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring product availability using RF scanners and inventory management tools.
• Load and unload shipments using pallet jacks or forklifts, ensuring proper handling of goods while adhering to safety protocols.
• Maintain cleanliness of the store environment, including cleaning shelves, packing areas, and customer service stations to promote a safe shopping space.
• Support shipping and receiving processes by verifying incoming shipments with warehouse experience skills and updating inventory records accordingly.
• Assist in merchandising efforts by arranging products attractively to maximize sales opportunities and enhance the shopping experience.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining a positive attitude at all times.
• Perform heavy lifting as needed when stocking or organizing supplies, ensuring safety procedures are followed during all physical tasks.
• Support retail sales initiatives by promoting products, upselling when appropriate, and contributing to achieving sales targets.

Experience

• Previous retail store experience or warehouse experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems, RF scanners, pallet jacks, forklifts, and shipping & receiving processes is advantageous.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for stock control and merchandising tasks.
• Excellent communication skills in multiple languages are a plus; bilingual abilities are highly valued for serving diverse customer bases.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking throughout shifts.
• Knowledge of retail math for accurate cash handling and transaction processing is beneficial.

Pay: $13.00 - $17.00 per hour
