One of Boston's leading investment firms is currently seeking a talented systems engineer for a full time hire to join our IT team that is at the epicenter of a digital transformation. The role will join a team that is responsible for designing, automating, and supporting mission critical hardware, network, cloud, and virtual systems. This calls for an experienced engineer who can look at existing systems and be a thought leader on building out state of the art modern solutions. You will work on an experienced team that has built a great trust with many business units by delivering on time and successful infrastructure solutions.
The successful candidate should have a strong background in virtualization, cloud, and storage solutions. The environment has a large Microsoft Windows presence, but also leverages Linux servers as well. You will automate server deployments, recommend solutions for continued network performance, as well as leading the transformation with modern storage and virtualization upgrades
