Hightower & Partners, an AV-rated insurance defense firm, is seeking a skilled and motivated Junior Associate Attorney with 0-3 years of litigation experience to join our dynamic team in Orlando, FL. This is a full-time, in-office position, and candidates must be licensed to practice in Florida and in good standing with the Florida Bar.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle all aspects of insurance defense litigation, including personal injury, premises liability, auto claims, and general liability cases.
- Manage cases from inception to resolution, including discovery, depositions, motion practice, hearings, mediations, and trial preparation.
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and memoranda.
- Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, depositions, and mediations.
- Effectively communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and insurance representatives.
- Maintain organized case files and meet all deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
- 0-3 years of litigation experience, preferably in insurance defense or civil litigation.
- Active Florida Bar license in good standing.
- Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
- Experience with billable hours and law firm billing practices preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple cases independently and work efficiently under deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
