Job Description: Human Resources Manager, Compliance & Operations

Location: High Point, NC, 27263

Job Description: At Hightower, our People Operations Team (People Ops) leads the delivery of all people engagement services to internal client groups, driving outstanding performance. People Ops partners closely with business leaders to drive the Hightower talent agenda, progress our B-Corp mission, consult on critical talent decisions, and achieve operational excellence for the business. We serve as trusted advisors on all Human Resource (HR) issues and as partners to the business in Talent Acquisition, Retention, Employee Relations, Benefits Administration, Learning and Development, and Performance Management. The position requires absolute discretion, exceptional judgment, and a strong service orientation. The role requires a track record of earning the respect and trust of constituents at all levels. This position reports to the Vice President of Workplace Experience. The successful candidate will be excited about being part of a collaborative team, ensuring the company is in compliance with HR regulations, evolving our practices, and being a good steward of our resources and people.

Experience & Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree in a related field; Advanced degree and/or (S)PHR certifications desirable
  • 5 years of challenging and relevant HR management experience, ideally in a manufacturing setting
  • The ability to design and improve HR programs and policies that optimize performance, build camaraderie, and meet company goals
  • Project management skills to ensure that HR initiatives are effectively executed
