Vertical Drill Operator

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Vertical Drill Operator, based in La Grange, NC, with flexibility for some remote work. The Vertical Drill Operator will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of drilling equipment required for tower installations and related projects. Daily tasks will include reading technical plans, setting up drill rigs, maintaining equipment, ensuring site safety, and collaborating with the team to meet project timelines and standards.

• Proficiency in operating and maintaining vertical drilling equipment
• Ability to understand and follow technical blueprints and site plans
• Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures, especially in construction and tower settings
• Basic mechanical skills for troubleshooting and equipment maintenance
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members and project leads
• Ability to work in hybrid settings, both onsite and remotely as necessary
• Physical stamina and ability to work in outdoor environments under varying conditions
• Prior experience in telecommunications or tower construction is beneficial
• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certifications are a plus
• Possession of a valid driver’s license and ability to travel to worksites as needed
