Come join our wonderful team as a banquet server or bartender! Our company has been catering weddings, corporate events, birthday parties and more for many years. No experience required. Open availability. Operations are out of Hightop Hospitality's Catering Head Quarters in Saint Paul. A reliable source of transportation within the Twin Cities area is required.
Banquet Server/Bartender Responsibilities:
- Provide prompt and courteous service at all times
- Arrive on time and demonstrate effective time management
- Arrive clean and in professional uniform
- Serve food and beverages in accordance to the function requirements
- Maintain positive guest relations at all times
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas
- Communicate with banquet lead regarding customer needs, supply shortages, and equipment problems
- Follow the direction of the manager or banquet lead
- Load/Unload catering vans at each event
- Drive catering vans
- Communicate with banquet staff as needed
- Assist in clearing and cleaning after food service
- Complete additional tasks assigned throughout event
Job Requirements and Required License or Certification:
- Must be 18 years old.
- Driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation.
- Must be able to bend, lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular and continuing basis.
- Must be able to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for period up to eight hours.
- Must be able to speak clearly and listen attentively to all guests and other staff, most of whom speak English.
