Job Title: Client Manager– Employee Benefits
Location: Jenison, MI Hybrid

Reports To: EB Manager
Position Overview
We’re looking for an experienced client manager to join our team and manage middle-market clients ranging from 20-100 employees. You’ll work closely with business owners, HR teams and our client development team to maintain client relationships, manage renewals, account round and provide guidance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for an established book of business
- Manage new business and renewal marketing process
- Work with client development team to develop renewal strategies
- Prepare renewal presentations and employee communications
- Run reporting and data analytics
- Keep up to date with compliance and regulation
- Identify cross sell and account rounding opportunities
- Keep client information up to date in agency management systems
- Work with carriers to resolve service and claims issues
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in employee benefits
- Strong understanding of fully insured and level funded plans
- Knowledge of ancillary benefits, COBRA, ACA, Section 125 and general compliance
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong project management abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Active Michigan Life & Health License
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in the 20-100 employee space
- Experience creating enrollment materials
- Experience with Employee Navigator and Epic
