Schedule Requirements
- Must be available to work every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
- Weekend availability is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service and create a welcoming experience for every guest.
- Educate customers on cannabis products, strains, consumption methods, and effects.
- Make product recommendations based on customer needs and preferences.
- Process transactions accurately using the dispensary POS system.
- Maintain compliance with all state cannabis regulations and company policies.
- Verify customer identification and eligibility for purchase.
- Keep the sales floor clean, organized, and fully stocked.
- Assist with receiving inventory, merchandising, and restocking products.
- Maintain product knowledge by staying informed about new products and industry trends.
- Work closely with team members to meet daily sales and customer service goals.
- Participate in marketing initiatives by appearing on camera to create promotional content for social media, educational videos, product spotlights, and other company marketing efforts. Being comfortable on camera is a required part of this position.
Qualifications
- Previous retail, customer service, hospitality, or cannabis industry experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for cannabis education and customer service.
- Comfortable speaking confidently with customers and on camera.
- Basic computer and POS system knowledge.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
- Reliable transportation and excellent attendance.
- Ability to pass any required background checks in accordance with state regulations.
- Must meet the minimum legal age requirements for employment in the cannabis industry.
