What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Geotechnical Engineer position at HighSpans Engineering, Inc.?
ABILITIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES: ·
- Signing and sealing geotechnical reports and boring log sheets associated with bridge and roadway soil borings, Professional Engineer registered in Florida.
- Coordinate with roadway and bridge EORs to develop foundation designs.
- Final review of data entry and information for lab tested samples.
- Planning and organizing the work of subordinate and staff members.
- Developing and/or reviewing policies, methods, practices, and procedures.
- Reviewing programs for conformance with Department standards.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Professional Engineer (PE) License in the State of Florida.
- Minimum of ten (10) years of engineering experience in activities associated with highway materials testing.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbally and in writing.)
