General Labor/Packaging and Assembly
Company Overview:
Highrise Products is an architectural metal fabrication firm, specializing in railing systems and miscellaneous metal fabrication. Located in St. Cloud, MN, our products are proudly made in the USA and distributed nationwide. We are growing and looking to add a General Laborer to our amazing team.
Job Description:
- Assemble products (misc. steel, aluminum and composite components) per provided blueprints via both mechanical and adhesive assembly
- May be “floating” between shipping and assembly
- Maintain equipment and tools to promote safety
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensure all safety policies are followed, wear proper PPE
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Ability to lift 40 lbs. regularly
- No experience required – will train, however a familiarity with hand tools, including drills, saws, caulking guns, squares, calipers, tape measures (ability to read a tape measure), is helpful
- Must be reliable and punctual and must be a team player
- Able to work overtime when necessary
- Willing to change tasks within the shop as workload necessitates
- Basic knowledge of fabrication machinery/process is helpful, but not required. This position has the opportunity to eventually be cross-trained on machine operations, so someone with a desire to learn would be ideal.
- Flexibility: there are times where overtime is mandatory, however HRP understands and encourages a healthy work/life balance.
Job Type:
This is a full time, hourly position. Expected hours are 7:00am – 3:30pm, with occasional OT.
