Stone Shop Assistant Manager/Fabricator

• We are seeking a skilled, hands-on Stone Fabricator & Shop Assistant Manager to lead our production team and drive workshop operations. In this hybrid role, you will split your time between expert stone craftsmanship and operational leadership. You will manage shop schedules, oversee safety, and actively fabricate, cut, and finish premium stone surfaces.
• Experience: 3 years of professional stone fabrication experience preferred, but willing to train the right person. At least 1–2 years in a supervisory or shop-lead role.
• Technical Skill: Mastery of CNC bridge saws and routers, manual grinders, and material handling equipment (forklifts/overhead cranes).
• Blueprint Reading: Ability to accurately read digital templates, shop drawings, and architectural blueprints.
• Physical Stamina: Capability for heavy lifting, stand for long shifts, and thrive in a fast-paced, and loud manufacturing environment.
• Leadership: Strong communication skills to train staff, solve workflow bottlenecks, and collaborate with our installation crews.

Duties and skills would include:

• Lead the Shop: Manage daily operations, schedule production workflows, and lead a team of fabricators to meet strict installation deadlines.
• Fabricate & Finish: Cut, shape, laminate, and polish natural stone and engineered quartz slabs according to precise job specifications.
• Quality & Safety: Inspect all finished pieces for defects before they leave the shop, enforce strict OSHA safety standards, and ensure proper PPE use.
• Maintain & Manage: Oversee inventory levels for shop supplies, and coordinate routine maintenance for bridge saws, CNC machinery, and tools.

MUST HAVE VALID DRIVERS LICENSE

Bi-weekly production bonuses after 90 days.
