Exteriors by Highmark is adding an Assistant Project Manager to our team. The Exteriors by Highmark Assistant Project Manager supports day-to-day operations across multiple active projects. This role is responsible for coordinating schedules for high-volume roof and siding installations, performing residential and commercial takeoffs, and managing warranty and service requests. The Assistant Project Manager works closely with project managers, field crews, subcontractors, and clients to ensure projects run smoothly, safely, and on time.
Pay: $55K - $70K

The Assistant Project Manager works closely with project managers, field crews, subcontractors, and clients to ensure projects run smoothly, safely, and on time.
Pay: $55K - $70K
Responsibilities
Project Coordination & Scheduling:
- Create, manage, and adjust schedules for high-volume roofing and siding installations.
- Coordinate labor-only crews, ensuring availability, readiness, and timely deployment to job sites.
- Work in conjunction with Highmark Job Superintendent to communicate daily with crews regarding job details, start times, materials readiness, and site conditions.
- Get project progress and updates from Highmark Job superintendent identify schedule conflicts, delays, or resource needs.
- Perform detailed residential and commercial takeoffs for roofing, siding, and related exterior scopes using company-approved software and tools.
- Assist with proposal preparation by providing accurate quantities, labor estimates, and job notes.
- Review construction drawings, specifications, and scopes of work to ensure alignment with estimates.
- Receive, document, and prioritize warranty and service requests from clients, partners, and project managers.
- Schedule service crews and follow up to ensure timely completion and quality control.
- Maintain thorough records of warranty claims, resolutions, and associated costs.
- Maintain organized project files, schedules, and daily updates.
- Communicate professionally with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
- Assist Project Managers with subcontractor coordination, safety documentation, job closeouts, and project reporting.

Qualifications
- Experience in construction scheduling, coordination, or project support (exterior construction preferred).
- Knowledge of roofing and siding systems, installation processes, and industry terminology.
- Strong ability to read construction plans and perform accurate takeoffs.
- Maintain organization while working on multiple construction projects at once.
- Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with project management and estimating software (Builder Trend, Pro Core, outbuild, ETC…).
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite).
- Highly motivated and organized.
- Able to work with a team.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Experience managing labor crews or subcontractor coordination (preferred).
- Background in both residential and commercial exteriors (preferred).
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Must pass a background check.
