Job Title: CNC Folder Operator (Metal Roofing)
Job Summary:
We’re looking for a reliable CNC Folder Operator to join our metal roofing production team. This role focuses on fabricating metal roofing trim, flashing, and custom pieces using a CNC folding machine in a fast-paced shop environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable with measurements and angles, and committed to producing high-quality work on schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate a CNC folding machine to bend and form metal roofing trim and flashing
- Interpret work orders, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication
- Measure materials and verify finished parts meet required dimensions and tolerances
- Track and prioritize production orders to ensure accuracy and on-time completion
- Coordinate with panel production to match trim to roofing orders
- Operate additional equipment such as sheet metal shears as needed
- Safely operate a forklift to move materials and load completed orders
- Perform routine machine checks and basic maintenance
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Qualifications:
- Experience operating CNC folders or similar sheet metal equipment preferred
- Understanding of angles, measurements, and basic math
- Ability to read a tape measure and follow production specs accurately
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Forklift experience or willingness to learn
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move materials (50 lbs)
- Standing for extended periods
- Comfortable working in a shop/warehouse environment
Preferred (Not Required):
- Experience in metal roofing fabrication (trim/flashing)
- Familiarity with CNC controls and basic programming
Job Type: Full-time
