We are seeking a motivated, hard-working individual to assist our Claims Analysis team. The Claims Analysis Intern will support the review and organization of health insurance claims and related documentation, working closely with internal team members to help reduce healthcare costs for our clients. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to synthesize written and numerical information. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Intake new health insurance claims
- Acquire, review, and organize additional data required for claim analysis
- Analyze claims using established claim analysis templates and internal tools
- Identify missing or incomplete claim information and assist in follow-up efforts
- Assist with improving and streamlining the claims intake and analysis process
- Collaborate with team members to support efficient and accurate claim review
Experience and Qualifications
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Coursework or background in biology, health sciences, or medical-related fields preferred
- Basic understanding of health insurance or medical claims preferred
- Experience with and proficiency in Microsoft Excel preferred
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Analytical abilities and problem-solving skills
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Aptitude for working with computer systems and learning new software and procedures
Compensation and Benefits
- Paid Full-Time Internship: $15/hr
- Position is fully in-office
- Training will be provided
