The Groundskeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and overall curb appeal of a property. This role focuses on a general upkeep of both exterior and common interior areas to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents, guests, and staff. The Groundskeeper works independently while coordinating with property management to support daily operations and resident satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with general property maintenance as needed.
• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the property’s grounds and common areas.
• Remove trash and debris from the property.
• Clean interior hallways and units.
• Assist with seasonal tasks such as leaf removal, snow removal, and ice control.
• Support property management by preparing common areas for inspections, events, or tours.
• Operate and maintain groundskeeping tools and equipment safely.
• Follow all safety guidelines and company policies.
• Assist with all other duties as needed.
Qualifications:
• Previous groundskeeping, janitorial, or property maintenance experience preferred
• Ability to work independently
• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining clean, attractive surroundings
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, walking, and working outdoors
• Reliable, organized, and able to manage time effectively
• Positive attitude and basic customer service skills
