The Assistant General Manager supports the General Manager in the daily operations of hotel and motel properties. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily operations and ensuring exceptional guest experiences.
- Schedule front desk and housekeeping staff.
- Manage and supervise hotel/motel staff, including front desk agents, housekeeping, and maintenance teams.
- Maintain a high level of professional appearance and demeanor.
- Demonstrate the ability to multi-task, work flexibly between hotel and motel properties, and problem-solve effectively with internal and external customers.
- Provide leadership and guidance to staff, fostering a positive work environment.
- Create and implement policies and procedures in collaboration with the General Manager.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests in a professional and timely manner.
- Monitor and maintain high standards of cleanliness and property maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and security regulations.
- Maintain knowledge of local attractions, events, and amenities to provide guest recommendations.
