Job Summary
Under general direction from the Resort Supervisor, repair and maintain equipment, plumbing, electrical wiring, fixtures, and general appliance repairs of owner units.
Duties and Responsibilities: Specific areas of responsibility include, but not limited to:
- Perform general plumbing, electrical, painting, sheetrock repair, and carpentry repairs. Unclog drains, garbage disposals, resetting circuit breakers, light switches, replacement of valves, thermostats and working on general household appliances.
- Respond to and handle all owner requests in a professional and courteous, safe, and efficient manner.
- Use of power and hand tools to perform repairs and maintenance work.
- Repairs tile, damaged bathroom-kitchen fixtures, minor repairs to air conditioning units, heating, repairs damages walls and doors, paints inside and outside building walls.
- Maintains the appearance of the main lobby, public areas, parking lots and grounds.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization of storage and work areas.
- Respond quickly, safely, and efficiently to all owner requests.
- Respond to all emergency situations including power failures, fire alarms or any threat to the property; notify the appropriate authorities.
- Be safe and have fun.
Job Requirements:
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience: Hospitality and building experience a plus.
- Knowledge of building and equipment maintenance-repair techniques.
- Skill in applying building and equipment maintenance-repair techniques.
- Ability to follow instructions and procedures in the operation, repair, and maintenance of machinery and equipment.'
