Role Description This is a full-time, hybrid Salesperson role based in Hoover, AL, with some work-from-home flexibility. The Salesperson will identify and develop new business opportunities, build and maintain relationships with B2B clients, and present multi-media advertising and publishing solutions that meet client objectives. Daily responsibilities include prospecting, conducting sales calls and virtual meetings, preparing proposals, negotiating contracts, and managing the sales pipeline through closing. The role also involves collaborating with editorial, design, and production teams to ensure client expectations are met, tracking performance against sales targets, and maintaining accurate records in CRM systems.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in lead generation, prospecting, and consultative selling, with the ability to identify client needs and match them to publishing and advertising solutions.
- Experience in client relationship management, including maintaining long-term accounts, managing renewals, and providing responsive, professional customer service.
- Proficiency in communication and presentation, including clear verbal and written communication, persuasive sales presentations, and confident virtual and in-person meetings.
- Ability to manage a sales pipeline, including opportunity tracking, forecasting, and effective use of CRM or similar sales management tools.
- Familiarity with advertising, media, or publishing environments, with an understanding of B2B marketing and multi-media campaigns considered an advantage.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a hybrid work setting.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
