What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Nurse (Intensive Care Unit) position at Highlands Medical Center?
POSITION SUMMARY:
Coordinates total nursing care for patients, participates in patient and family teaching and provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing care in the clinical setting. There is a special emphasis on the care of critically ill patients.
EDUCATION/ SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
Current licensure with the AL State Board of Nursing as Registered Nurse. ACLS certification preferred.
