What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part Time Bar Staff position at Highlands Distillery?
Highlands Distillery looking for new bar staff. This is a tipped position. We are looking to fill shifts on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. We are looking for folks to serve cocktails and create food in our on-site food trailer.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Serve house made draft cocktails with precision and aesthetics in mind
- Check guests’ identification
- Educate guests about the spirits produced here, drink options available
- Pre-shift preparation of garnish and food for service
- Create and serve food to order from our food trailer
- Use POS to complete transactions and serve guests
- Maintain neat, clean and organized bar area and patios; lift and empty bus tubs, prep and stock bar (e.g., juices, fruit, etc.), clean glassware, before & after hours cleaning, and mopping
- Other side duties assigned by management (e.g., take out towels or trash, restock, check restrooms, refill ice)
Requirements
- Willingness to learn and change with new craft cocktail releases
- Be willing to work with other staff, not as a family but a team of professionals
- Grow with us as we tackle new offerings and service areas
Education & Experience:
- No prior education required.
- Must be 21 years old
