Highlands Community Ministries, a well-established center in the heart of the Highlands, is seeking a dedicated full-time teacher to join our team.
We are looking for candidates with experience to work primarily with kids about 2 to 2.5 years old. Working in our center, you’ll care for and nurture a group of little ones, ensuring they thrive in a safe, loving, and stimulating environment.

Duties
** Ability to focus on providing a positive and safe environment to the children
** Ability to work in a team setting
** Communication with parents
** Demonstrate good judgement
** Implement lesson plans to help children develop
** Work as a team with the parent
** Follow center health and safety guidelines
** Someone who is flexible, every day is different when working with children
Requirements
** High School Diploma or GED
** Ability to pass a criminal background record check
** Have or be willing to get a current TB test
** Ability to read, write, and converse in English.
** Ability to effectively communicate with children, staff, parents, and others.
** Ability to lift up to 35lbs and occasionally 50 lbs
** Cooperates with and shows respect for co-workers at all levels.
