Job Summary
The School Social Worker supports students by identifying and addressing barriers to learning and achievement and contributes to a healthy, safe, inclusive, and trauma-informed learning environment. Using culturally responsive and strengths-based approaches, the School Social Worker provides school-based counseling, crisis intervention, and social-emotional support, helps students access resources, and supports academic, career, and personal goals. Requirements / Qualifications

Incomplete applications will not be considered. -Resume (Required) -Minimum of Two Professional References (Required) -Proof of Masters degree or higher in Social Work (Required) -Proof of valid California Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential with authorization in School Social Work or eligibility to obtain a waiver for a PPS Credential in School Social Work (Required) -Valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) issued by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) (Preferred) In addition to the attached, applicants must also meet the following minimum requirements: -Experience supervising interns/trainees or willingness to complete field instructor training -Experience with micro-, mezzo-, and macro-level interventions in school settings, e.g., Multitiered Systems of Supports (MTSS) -This position requires regular travel between sites. A valid driver’s license, personal automobile, and proof of insurance required.
