Job Overview

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, nap times, and educational activities to ensure safety at all times.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment following health and safety regulations.
- Foster positive behavior management strategies to encourage cooperation and respect among children.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, behavior, and any concerns.
- Assist with diapering, feeding, and basic caregiving needs for infants and toddlers.
- Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing inclusive care.
- Follow all licensing requirements, policies, and procedures related to childcare standards.
- Participate in ongoing training related to childhood development, first aid, classroom management, and special education techniques.
Requirements
- Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, nannying, babysitting, or classroom settings.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; willingness to obtain certification is required.
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members.
- Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively while maintaining a nurturing environment.
- Flexibility to adapt activities based on individual children's needs and developmental stages.
