What are the responsibilities and job description for the HVAC Installer position at Highlands Air Conditioning?
Core Responsibilities
- Install HVAC systems: Set up heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration units in homes, offices, and industrial sites.
- Connect systems: Handle electrical wiring, refrigerant lines, gas lines, and ductwork to make the system fully operational.
- Test & calibrate: Run start-ups, check airflow, measure refrigerant pressure, and verify system performance.
- Fabricate & install ducts: Cut and assemble duct fittings and sheet metal as needed.
- Customer service: Explain system operation, answer questions, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Additional Duties
- Stock and maintain company vehicles with parts and tools.
- Train or guide HVAC helpers and apprentices.
- Ensure compliance with safety codes and building regulations.

Skills & Requirements
