Position: Part-time Activity Center Cleaning and Maintenance
Salary: $18.93 per hour
Department: Supervisors Office
Schedule: Part Time Position, up to 29 Hours per week (nights and weekend required, must be flexible, typical schedule is 15-20 hours per week.)
Position Overview:
The position will be responsible for keeping the Highland Activity Center clean and safe for public use.
Works with Township staff to achieve established programs, processes, and goals.
This position reports to the Highland Township Activity Center Director.
Essential Job Functions:
Various cleaning tasks for the Center as needed.
· All areas to be swept and mopped daily
· All trash cans including offices to be disposed of daily
· Offices to be vacuumed when necessary. Minimum every other day.
· Bathrooms to be swept, mopped, sinks and toilets cleaned, trash disposed of daily
· Mirrors and glass to be done daily.
· All surfaces to be dusted weekly. Windowsills, bookshelves and any counters or furniture.

Ability to:
· Work independently.
· Provide exceptional customer service to coworkers, and the public.

Education & Experience:
Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent.
Additional Requirements:
An acceptable general background check to include a local and state criminal history check and a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
