We are seeking a part-time or full-time employee for CNC Mill operations.
Flexible scheduling -- The shop is open during the following hours and employees are able to create a schedule to fit their needs.
Shop hours: Mon, Tues, Wed: 4:30 AM - 4:30PM, Thurs & Fri: 8 AM - 4:30PM
In this role, you will operate, set up, and program CNC milling machines to produce high-quality components with accuracy and efficiency. Your expertise will help drive our commitment to excellence in manufacturing, utilizing advanced tools and techniques to meet tight tolerances and complex specifications.
Duties
- Operate CNC milling machines (Haas VF 2)
- Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to produce parts that meet exact standards.
- Program CNC machines using CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software and manual G-code adjustments.
- Set up tooling, fixtures, and workpieces accurately using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments.
- Ability to recognize and correct malfunctions.
- Work in a team atmosphere to assist/instruct coworkers with machining techniques.
Experience
- Strong knowledge of CNC programming, CAM software, and blueprint reading.
- Mechanical aptitude with a solid understanding of machining processes, tooling selection, and fixture setup.
- Basic math skills for calculating dimensions, feeds, speeds, and tolerances.
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to machining operations.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
