Job purpose
The Purchaser/ Buyer is responsible for the purchase of most manufacturing materials. The Purchaser must ensure all materials are ordered timely and arrive as scheduled.
Duties and responsibilities
· Purchase raw materials for fabrication of product.
· Order manufacturing supplies.
· Review all orders to ensure all raw materials have been ordered.
· Review work orders and evaluate need for special accessories.
· Ensure all material and accessories will arrive as scheduled.
· Provide appropriate and complete paperwork to Accounts Payable Department.
· Work with vendors to ensure best pricing is received.
· Work with vendors to upgrade current products and identify new products.
· Identify new vendors with the intention of increasing product options and procuring favorable pricing.
Qualifications
College diploma or equivalent
Minimum of three years of experience in an office environment, or related field preferred.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
