Job Summary: Highland Rivers Behavioral Health offers a variety of services for Veterans including those served in a Veterans Accountability court. This position will work those Veterans to reduce the impact of their behavioral health needs so they can comply with the requirements of the court.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serves as coordinator for all services provided for Veterans who are part of a Veteran’s Treatment Court (VTC); attends VTC staff meetings and communicates with VTC staff for care coordination.
- Completes documentation within the electronic health record, provides the initial assessment, and ongoing treatment planning for those involved with VTC.
- Provides services for individuals in the VTC (individual psychosocial rehabilitation, addictive disease support services, and individual counseling) according to treatment plan and DBHDD Provider Manual guidelines; completes all documentation according to policy and procedures.
- Provides groups for VTC and for any Veterans served by Highland Rivers (MRT group, Seeking Safety group, Life Skills group, etc.); completes all documentation according to policy and procedures.
- Serves as coordinator for all services provided for Veterans; assessments and clinical services as needed.
- Assists coworkers in Veteran specific care coordination and consultation on cultural competency and effective treatment strategies
- Assists agency staff in exploring grants, and other funding opportunities that benefit Veterans and services for Veterans as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Education – Master’s degree
- Licensure/Certification – licensed eligible in the State of Georgia or LAPC, LAMFT or LMSW.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Education – Master’s degree
- Licensure/Certification – LPC, LCSW or LAMFT in the State of Georgia
- Experience – Is a Veteran
