Role Description:
Highland Refrigeration is looking for an industrial Refrigeration Service Technician whose responsibilities will focus on installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial refrigeration equipment on systems around the world. Other areas of accountability center around programming of electrical controls and system operations to ensure equipment has proper safeties and protection for long term reliability. We prefer a candidate who is eager to learn on the fly and works well with others. This position will often require some travel, both in and out of state.

Position Responsibilities:
· Start-up of new systems, troubleshoot and evaluate system efficiency based on settings.
· Documenting operating conditions and correcting P&ID’s to as built drawings.
· Supervision of installation on systems, following P&ID, electrical, and provided drawing sets.
· Provide guidance to customers based on system questions.
· Maintenance and upkeep of system components and valves.
· Rebuilding of screw and reciprocating compressors in shop and in field.
· Charging of refrigerant and compressor oil into systems.
· Programing of system electrical components, determining operational conditions and setting.
· Test running of equipment in shop and providing operational data and feedback on the system.
Position Requirements:
· 3 years of experience in industrial refrigeration systems to include the installation, operation, of refrigeration and freezing systems.
· Experience in project management to handle multiple jobs at once.
· Experience in energy savings and sustainability initiatives within the refrigeration field.
· Must be detailed oriented, possess excellent technical and analytical skills.
· Demonstrate the capability to lead a project and interact in a group environment.
Preferred:
· 2 years of experience in PLC control panels and system controls for industrial refrigeration systems.
Physical Requirements:
· Lifting up to 25 pounds frequently.
· Walking on various manufacturing facility surfaces.
· Climbing up ladders and stairs.
· Exposed to fabrication noises and vibrations.
· Temperature changes from hot to cold depending on work area.
· Ability to safely operate a company vehicle.
· Ability to drive a forklift.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, weekend work upon request.
Work Location: One location in Seattle, WA. Up to 25-50% travel upon request.
