Role Description The Client Services Associate is a full-time, remote/hybrid position based in Boston, MA. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for client inquiries, coordinating account setup, maintenance, and documentation while ensuring a high level of responsiveness and professionalism. You will support advisors with meeting preparation, including gathering account information, preparing reports, and following up on action items. Daily responsibilities include handling routine service requests, processing transactions, updating CRM and custodial systems, and assisting with onboarding new clients. You will also collaborate with team members to improve client service processes, support compliance-related tasks, and contribute to a positive, service-oriented office environment.
Qualifications
- Strong client-facing skills in Client Services and Customer Service, with a commitment to building trust-based, long-term relationships.
- 3 years of relevant experience in wealth management, financial services, or a client-facing operations role (internships and rotational programs count).
- High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with office productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Office); experience with CRM or portfolio management systems is a plus.
- Familiarity with custodial platforms (Fidelity Wealthscape, Pershing, and Schwab Advisor Services,) and CRM systems preferred.
- Working knowledge of brokerage and advisory account types, Trusts, ACATs, and basic financial concepts.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience preferred but not required.
