Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic rehab team. The ideal candidate will work under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist to deliver high-quality rehabilitative services that help our residents regain mobility, independence, and confidence.
Responsibilities:
Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist
Provide direct therapy services to residents in accordance with physician orders and facility policies
Document resident progress accurately and timely in EMR system
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care
Maintain a safe and positive environment for residents and staff
Qualifications:
Current NYS license or certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)
Prior experience in long-term care or sub-acute rehab preferred but not required
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Compassionate, reliable, and motivated to make a difference
