Highland Manor of Elko Rehabilitation is a skilled nursing facility offering a wide variety of services within our full continuum of care campus.
We are currently seeking exceptional, enthusiastic and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants to assist our wonderful residents. If you are currently in, or have recently taken a CNA course (within 12 months), you may be eligible to work as a NAT - Nurse Aide in Training. Pay depends on experience. $1,000 hire on bonus will be paid out half on the first three full months of employment, in two equal payments. Must be full time status (32 hours weekly) with one year agreement to be eligible.
Rewarding Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional direct resident care
- Provide continuous restorative nursing in conjunction with the resident's activities of daily living
- Assist residents with toileting, grooming/bathing and transferring
- Ability to perform vitals accurately, with the knowledge of appropriate vital sign ranges
- Assist residents with ambulation programs
- Serve meals according to the residents dietary needs
- The ability to care for the resident's social, emotional, physical and mental health
- Able to work in a fast paced environment while giving attention to detail
- Work alongside skilled RN's and LPN's
- Assist in the evaluation of residents in emergency situations
- Ability to remain calm and handle any emergencies that may arise
- Exceptionally patient, good at listening and responsive to resident's needs
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Shift Coordinator/Supervisor on duty

Job Requirements:
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Applicant must have a valid NV CNA License or be enrolled in an accredited CNA program
- Must have a current AHA BLS CPR card
- Must be able to pass a criminal back ground check
- Ability to read, write, comprehend and communicate in English.
