Job Description
Position Summary: Conducts reporting and analysis of financial data in support of the Department of Family Medicine / Highland Family Medicine. Performs analyses, audits, and tests necessary to ascertain integrity of accounting data, account balances, and ensure accurate reporting. Assists with annual Capital and Operating Budget. Performs work associated with accounting, journal entries, variance analysis, purchase order creation, and deposit of payments.
Assist and partner with Sr. Program Administrator, Finance Manager, faculty, department chair and other leaders to produce accurate, timely, actionable reporting and analysis necessary for making sound strategic and tactical decisions. Work independently and in cross-functional groups on projects and initiatives to support the mission/vision of the department.

Qualifications
Job Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience: 3-4 years of relevant experience; Experience with Grant accounting and UR Financials preferred
License/Certification Required
Skills: Positive and focused attitude coupled with great work ethic and a desire to grow and learn new things. Computer literacy required; knowledge of accounting systems, general ledger systems, advanced use of Microsoft Excel for development of workbooks and financial pro formas. Excellent presentation and communication skills; demonstrated skills in multi-tasking, time management and organization.
