What are the responsibilities and job description for the RADIOLOGIST TECHNICIAN-WEEKENDER DAYS position at Highland Hills Medical Center?
Highland Hills Medical Center in Senatobia is expanding the Radiology Department and seeks a Radiology Technician who will work weekender days (Saturdays and Sundays). This is a part-time position for day-time hours.
Job Summary: Performs a variety of imaging procedures, including CAT procedures, and is responsible for patient safety protocols. Functions as the first line interface with customers in the successful accomplishment of their imaging needs. Participates in CQI activities.
Regulatory Requirements:
- Associate degree is required.
- One year of radiologic/imaging experience.
- Prefer specific experience and training in CAT.
- Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology.
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
- Current MS State Medical Radiation License and ARRT certification.
- Current BLS certification.
- Knowledge and understanding of general anatomy, physiology and medical terminology.
- Possesses a high level of knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy.
- Proficiency with most major CT equipment manufacturer's hardware and software
Language Skills
- Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
- Additional languages preferred.
Skills:
- Basic computer knowledge.
