What are the responsibilities and job description for the High School English Teacher and Drama Teacher position at Highland Hall Waldorf School?
We are searching for a professional high school English teacher who also has teaching experience in Grades 9 – 12 beginning January 2023. Successful candidates should be able to offer an inspiring drama elective in the high school, drama block (9 weeks long) and equally have a passion for teaching English fundamentals of writing, research paper, the short story, poetry. It is necessary to have ability to correct papers in timely and thorough manner. We have small class sizes.
Qualifications/Responsibilities
A Bachelor’s Degree and high school teaching experience is required. Must have a desire to work with adolescents, be adept at teaching to a wide range of student abilities and have appropriate, strong classroom management skills. This position could be part time or salary position, depending on the breadth of experience and interest.

Our beautiful 11-acre campus sits atop a grassy hill in a scenic neighborhood in the San Fernando Valley. We have a garden and farm, and an orchard. Our campus also has a spacious grassy playing field and gymnasium where the students enjoy a variety of physical activities.
