Our private, one doctor practice is looking for a dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our team!! Our office is equipped with the latest technologies to provide the best patient care, making appointments a breeze for both our Hygienists and our patients. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough dental cleanings and scaling procedures to remove plaque, tartar, and stains from teeth.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
- Assess patients’ periodontal health and record vital signs accurately.
- Maintain accurate medical records and update patient information in Dentrix or similar software.
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive care for pediatric and adult patients.
Qualifications
- Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
- Knowledge of anatomy related to oral health and general dentistry practices.
- Familiarity with infection control standards in a dental office setting.
- Proficiency in using Dentrix or similar dental software for managing patient records.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages, including pediatrics.
- A compassionate approach to patient care with a commitment to promoting oral health education.
