Skycraft Roofing specializes in handling the roofing needs of commercial and industrial buildings for more than 50 years. Specializing in Single Ply, Coating, Built-up, and repairs.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Technical Representative will provide technical support to contractors, distributors and sales representatives. The Technical Representative will report to the Executive Vice President and Vice President.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide answers to inquiries to assist all customers including roofing contractors, technical representatives, sales representatives, distributors, architects, specifiers, and roof consultants.
- Perform final roof inspections on completed projects
- Perform inspections on warranty leak claims
- Perform training programs and assistance for applicators, estimators, and customers to instruct/educate them on application or other relevant subject matter to increase their efficiency and capacity to properly
- Perform field tests and provide feedback and solutions for experimental technologies
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs other work-duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, construction management or related field is highly preferred; Equivalent experience (5 years) in commercial roofing will be considered.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Strong verbal/written communication skills; Salesforce, Teams, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The applicant will be required to go visit job sites. It will require the applicant to routinely sit, stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, and bend for up to 8 hours. Position requires the occasional lifting of objects up to 10lbs.

WORKING HOURS:
Standard hours Monday-Friday, eight to ten hours per day. This position is on-site.
