Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) to lead our therapy department. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, clinical expertise, and a passion for improving patient outcomes. This role is open to qualified PTs, OTs, or SLPs.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day operations of the rehabilitation department.
Develop and implement individualized therapy programs to meet patient needs.
Supervise, mentor, and evaluate therapy staff to ensure high-quality care.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
Collaborate with nursing and medical teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Manage departmental scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
Qualifications
Licensed PT, OT, or SLP in the state of New York.
Prior experience in rehabilitation management preferred.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Knowledge of CMS, Joint Commission, and state regulations is a plus.
