Highland Architecture is currently seeking talented full time Architectural Staff with a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in residential design and construction documents. Our firm specializes in bespoke residential design, delivering high-quality and client-focused design solutions while currently operating in 4 states from the Midwest to Montana. Responsibilities:
- Prepare architectural drawing sets for permit and construction. Construction documentation sets include floor plans, elevations, wall sections, electrical plans, structural plans and information sheets.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.
- Ensure coordination of notes and details between drawings.
- Prepare designs and presentations for client meetings.
- 3D computer modeling and rendering of architectural models.
Qualifications:
- Professional degree in architecture
- At least 3 years of proven experience in residential architectural design and documentation.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp software with knowledge of rendering software.
- Ability to graphically communicate by hand.
- Strong knowledge of stick frame buildings and construction.
- Strong communication and organizational skills while coordinating several projects.
- Ability to self-motivate to meet deadlines within budgeted hours.
