We are seeking a dedicated and energetic General Cleaner to join our team! Duties
- Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and polishing floors to maintain a pristine appearance.
- Handle residential and commercial cleaning duties such as bathroom sanitation, kitchen cleaning, window washing, and trash disposal.
- Conduct outdoor work including lawn care, outdoor trash collection, and surface maintenance to keep exterior areas tidy.
- Manage laundry services including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or uniforms as needed.
- Use manual handling techniques safely when lifting heavy items like furniture or equipment to prevent injury.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness in hotel rooms, offices, restrooms, kitchens, and common areas with attention to detail.
- Follow proper janitorial procedures for sanitation and infection control to ensure a healthy environment for all occupants.
- Assist with housekeeping management tasks such as inventorying supplies and reporting maintenance issues promptly.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding courteously to inquiries or requests from staff or visitors.
- Adhere to safety protocols during all cleaning activities and outdoor work to ensure personal and team safety.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in custodial work or janitorial services; hotel or residential cleaning experience is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including carpet cleaning, polishing, and stripping floors.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely; physical strength for heavy lifting required.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently.
- Experience with sanitation standards and proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Customer service skills that foster positive interactions with clients and team members.
- Familiarity with laundry procedures and outdoor maintenance tasks is a plus.
- Prior experience in commercial cleaning or housekeeping management is advantageous.
