About the RoleAs our Community Relations Coordinator, you will guide families through one of life’s most important decisions by introducing them to Highgate’s lifestyle, care, and community.
You will lead the sales process by building meaningful relationships, conducting memorable tours, coordinating events and outreach, and helping prospective residents confidently choose Highgate as their new home.
What You’ll Do- Manage inquiries, tours, deposits, and follow-up through our CRM
- Build meaningful relationships with prospective residents and their families
- Conduct personalized tours that bring the Highgate experience to life
- Plan and host engaging marketing events and professional outreach
- Develop relationships with healthcare professionals and community referral partners
- Track competitive information, pricing, and market positioning
- Coordinate assessments, paperwork, and move-in logistics with internal teams
- Maintain accurate pipeline reporting and sales metrics
- Collaborate with community and corporate leadership to achieve occupancy and revenue goals
- Exceptional communication skills—in person, by phone, virtually, and through email
- A warm, empathetic, and customer-first approach
- Confidence, persistence, and a strong desire to achieve goals
- Excellent organization and follow-through
- Comfort using Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and other sales technology
- Ability to balance changing priorities and deadlines
- A natural relationship builder who genuinely enjoys helping others
- A collaborative spirit and a positive, solutions-focused attitude
Your background may include:
- Direct sales in senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or service-based industries
- Marketing, networking, business development, or community outreach
- Building professional referral relationships
- Guiding customers and families through significant decisions
- At least 21 years of age
- Two or more years of experience in a direct sales role
- Valid driver’s license with a qualifying driving record
- Current negative TB test
- Ability to successfully complete a background check
