Duties And Responsibilities
- Experienced in verifying insurance benefits and determining pre-pays for surgeries and consultations.
- Skilled in using EMR systems with strong attention to accuracy and detail.
- Knowledgeable in patient financials, including collecting payments and discussing treatment plans.
- Proficient in answering and managing a busy multi-line phone system.
- Experienced in filing insurance claims and ensuring proper documentation for timely processing.
- Scheduling procedures for clinical visits
- Greeting patients with a smile as they arrive for their appointment
- Answering calls promptly
- Schedule/Reschedule patient visits
- Prepare patient charts & daily schedules
- Enjoy interacting with patients and working in a team environment
- The ability to stay organized while working in a fast-paced environment
- Collect payments
- Focused on details
- Perform general office duties
- Dental or Oral Surgery Experience required.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 years of customer focused experience
- 1 years of receptionist experience is highly desired
