The Manager of Clinical Services provides leadership, management, supervision and clinical oversight to residential staff, coordinating and enhancing quality services for youth participating in the residential program.

Minimum Qualifications / Experience:
Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or related behavioral health field.
State Licensure in social work, counseling or psychology, or the ability to get it.
4 years of experience as a social service worker in a childcare organization.
Two years of the 4 years of experience shall be in a child caring institution.
Essential Functions:
Provides therapy to youth and their families that fulfills contractual requirements.
Fosters effective teamwork and communication with Residential Counselors and Direct Services Supervisors through facilitation of weekly team meetings and regular team building training.
Oversees treatment groups on campus and ensures they are running with fidelity.
Develops and maintains relationships with licensing consultant and ensures all licensing standards are met.
Ability to mirror the Director of Residential on duties such as MDE standards, payroll, CAPs, budget, and other duties as assigned to fulfill duties in case of emergency.
Supervises, trains, and coaches Residential Family Counselors in all essential duties.
Coordinates care planning, review and treatment plan implementation for all students and families.
Participates actively on the management team to coordinate the needs of the entire campus program.
Monitors timely completion of reports, paperwork, and file entries to ensure effective communication.
Fosters staff reinforcement of positive behavioral changes of students through multiple program experiences
Understands and utilizes agency approved de-escalation and physical management policies and procedures.
Demonstrates an ability to handle crisis situations and provide leadership.
Demonstrates the ability to be flexible.
Handles the stress associated with the various aspects of the residential program.
Shall be a person of good character who possesses the health, emotional stability, maturity and strength to carry out assigned duties.
***A high level of decision-making is required in this position. 9 on a 10 point scale.
Must have reliable transportation.
Must maintain adequate insurance coverage.
Must have/maintain a valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
