Corporate Electrical Engineer
We are seeking a Corporate Electrical Engineer to support and lead electrical engineering projects across manufacturing facilities and operations. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams, vendors, and contractors to design, implement, test, and commission electrical systems and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead electrical engineering projects from concept and design through installation, startup, and closeout.
- Develop and review electrical designs, drawings, specifications, layouts, and engineering calculations.
- Design, test, and validate electrical systems for manufacturing equipment and facility infrastructure.
- Identify technical requirements, safety concerns, and opportunities for process and equipment improvements.
- Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, purchasing, vendors, and material delivery.
- Coordinate with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Purchasing, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Support equipment installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, startup, and employee training.
- Participate in continuous improvement and Kaizen initiatives and lead projects as assigned.
- Ensure all projects meet applicable safety, quality, engineering, and company standards.
- Stay current with electrical engineering technologies, industry standards, and best practices.
- Complete project closeout and evaluate project performance, costs, and savings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering/technical field.
- 3–6 years of relevant engineering experience.
- Experience with electrical systems, industrial equipment, manufacturing, facilities, controls, or automation.
- Strong knowledge of electrical design, testing, troubleshooting, and project execution.
- Ability to read and develop electrical drawings and technical documentation.
- Strong project management, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Comfortable working with cross-functional teams, vendors, contractors, and plant personnel.
- Ability to travel approximately 40%.
