Responsibilities
- Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans that promote early childhood education and developmental milestones
- Support children with activities that enhance social interaction, motor skills, and cognitive growth
- Provide attentive care to children’s needs, including feeding, diapering, and comforting as required
- Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment by following health and safety protocols
- Support behavior management strategies to encourage positive interactions and discipline
- Help organize classroom materials and educational resources for effective learning experiences
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to ensure a collaborative approach to childcare
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or similar settings is preferred
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early education practices
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs is a plus
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to handle diverse behaviors with patience and professionalism
- Familiarity with infant care, toddler care, and preschool activities
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate attitude toward caregiving
