Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve high-quality meals to residents, including main courses, salads, and desserts
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to safety and sanitation standards
- Assist with menu planning, food ordering, and inventory management
- Collaborate with the dietary team to ensure accurate and timely food service
- Perform tasks as assigned by the Dietary Manager, such as food preparation, plating, and plating
- Maintain accurate records and reports, including meal counts, inventory, and special requests
Requirements:
- Dietary Cook certification or equivalent experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to lift, carry, and move food and equipment up to 50 pounds
- High school diploma or equivalent required
