- NC Health Connex enables the secure electronic exchange of patient health records among healthcare providers, improving care coordination and public health outcomes.
- NC HIEA works with healthcare organizations, Medicaid programs, and other stakeholders to enhance health data sharing across North Carolina.
Position Description:
- This position supports the HIE Medicaid Services (HMS)program, a collaboration between NC HIEA and the NC Department of Health andHuman Services (NCDHHS) Division of Health Benefits (DHB), also known as NCMedicaid.
The program enhances Medicaid quality and population health effortsthrough improved data exchange, focusing on:
- Transitioning to digital quality measures (dQMs),
- Improving health-related social needs (HRSN) data exchange, and
- Enhancing care management data sharing.
- The Care Management Analyst will focus on day-to-day operational support and implementation of the care management use case within NC HIEA.
- This role is responsible for helping to define requirements and guide implementation across teams, from documenting requirements to coordinating testing, managing technical issues, and ensuring that program activities align with established strategies.
- The position requires knowledge of Medicaid operations and data exchange, strong organizational skills, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues across multiple stakeholders.
