Highbrow is looking for a versatile marketer and event coordinator who will be responsible for the growth of the company in the growing digital world. We are looking for someone who can think out of the box creatively and is familiar with marketing in a highly regulated industry.
What Will This Role Do?
Schedule: Mon-Fri weekends as need
40-45 hours a week
Marketing manager responsibilities include tracking and analyzing the performance of advertising campaigns, ensuring that all marketing material is in line with our brand identity, managing social media platforms and assisting our Head of Design in projects as needed.
In addition to day-to-day responsibilities, this position will take the lead in coordinating and setting up events on behalf of Highbrow. This includes managing logistics, overseeing event setup, and ensuring a smooth execution. The individual in this role will also be expected to attend and actively represent Highbrow at these events, serving as a professional and knowledgeable ambassador of the brand
Ultimately, our goal is that you will help us build and maintain a strong and consistent brand through a wide range of online and offline marketing channels.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute marketing campaigns across various channels (digital, social media, events).
- Monitor campaign performance, analyze metrics, and make data-driven recommendations.
- Create compelling content for our website, social media, and email newsletters.
- Collaborate with designers, photographers, and videographers to produce visually appealing materials.
- Organize and promote cannabis-related events, product launches, and community events.
- Ensure seamless execution and positive attendee experiences.
- Develop strategies and tactics based on industry trends, retail trends, and social media analytics
- Manage company loyalty programs and text message platform
- Build strategic relationships and partner with key industry players, agencies and vendors
- Partner with our Head of Design to produce marketing material, from website banners to hard copy brochures and case studies
- Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, gain insight and assess against goals
- Analyze consumer behavior and adjust email and advertising campaigns accordingly
- Proven experience in identifying target audiences and in creatively devising and leading across channels marketing campaigns that engage, educate and motivate
Skills
- Demonstrable experience in marketing together with the potential and attitude required to learn
- Project Management - Ability to plan, organize, and oversee all aspects of an event from start to finish.
- Knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends)
- Familiar with Adobe Suite
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred
- Proficiency in social media platforms, content management systems, and analytics tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative mindset and ability to think outside the box.
- A sense of aesthetics and a love for great copy and witty communication
- Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
Requirements
- Must be 21 and able to pass a background check
- Reliable transportation
- ASc/BSc degree in Marketing or related field preferred
